Now that you have your guest list complete, it is time to order your invitations. This should be done about four to five months before the wedding. Make sure you order about a dozen more than you actually need in case you make a mistake when addressing them. Also, keep in mind what other items you might need printed, such as place cards, napkins, thank you cards or even programs. Invitations should be sent out six weeks before the wedding with enough postage on the return envelope and with an R.S.V.P. date approximately two weeks before the wedding. Final tip, anyone over 17 should receive their own invitation.
