Wedding Tip Dec 29 From Vanity Fare Caterers

When deciding on formal wear for the groom and groomsmen, make the style decision based on the time of day, time of year and degree of formality for your wedding. Also, take swatches of the bridesmaids' dresses with you when you select your formal wear so that everyone is coordinated and matching. Another thing that will make your fittings easier is if you provide sizes, lengths and measurements for each man. And, as with the girls, don't forget to start wearing your shoes in before your wedding day.

Vanity Fare Caterers is one of the best wedding venues in New Jersey. See how our years of expertise can take the stress out of many of your decisions and make your wedding the "one of a kind" day you have dreamed about! As well as dream weddings, Vanity Fare Caterers is also your source for other special occasions including baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, communions, christenings, corporate holiday parties or retirement parties, Sweet 15 or Sweet 16 as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Just call us to schedule an appointment to come in and view our facilities. We're looking forward to hearing from you.

Wedding Tip - December 27, 2009

Be aware of the warning signs that you may not be dealing with someone who is professional when looking for a consultant, vendor or catering hall. The most obvious signs are low customer satisfaction, lack of references, and not being able to hire your own vendors but, rather insisting that you use only their vendors. When you are looking to hire a wedding planner or to book a facility, you want to know that the person you are working with comes highly recommended and that they will listen to you and help you to create the wedding of your dreams.

Wedding Tip December 23, 2009

Instead of having a traditional favor at your wedding reception, you can try something different like making a donation to your favorite charity and have a scroll printed up saying this is what you have done in lieu of favors. Other ideas for favors that are different might be individual wine bottles with personalized labels, a tree seedling to be planted by your guests, or a handmade seed ribbon made from biodegradable paper and embedded with flower seeds. Whatever your favor, adding a personal or eco-friendly touch makes them more special.

Wedding Tip - December 20, 2009

If the Bride or Groom has children or nieces and nephews that they would like to have involved in the ceremony, there are several ways to do this. Older children can act as witnesses or even as Best Man or Maid of Honor, while younger children can act as Junior Bridesmaid, Junior Groomsman, Flower Girl or Ring Bearer.

Children can also be asked to do a reading during the ceremony or you can have a Unity Candle where everyone is involved and everyone participates. No matter how you decide to involve them, children always appreciate being a part of the special day.
